Reservation Policies for Direct Customers

All reservations must be 100% warranteed by credit card.

When making your reservation the system will charge the total amount and will give the confirmation number.

The confirmation of the reservation will be subject to acceptance of the credit card included in the request form.

Arenal Kioro Hotel or Costaricaguides Reservation Center will not confirm your reservation when your credit card presents some inconvenience, or is not accepted.

Cancellation Policies for Direct Customers :

Cancellations made 30 or more days before arrival date have a charge of $25 for administrative expenses, which will be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed.

Cancellations received 15 – 29 days before arrival date, will be penalized with 50% of the total amount charged.

Cancellations received 0 – 14 days before arrival date of the client, will be penalized with 100% of the total amount charged.

In case of No Show at all *when the customer does not arrive on the reserved date), penalization will be for 100% of the total amount charged.

 

Policies for Children :

Arenal Kioro considers as children, those infants from 0 – 9 years of age.

From the age of 10 years on they are considered as adults.

From 3 to 9 years we apply a charge of $5 + taxes (23%) as breakfast.

Two children from 3 to 9 years sharing room with their parents are considered as an adult.

Children from 0 to 3 years have no additional charge.
